Each and every day I get up at 5:15AM so I can spend the day with the little gems who light up my life. I spend hours and hours planning AWESOME lessons and joyous activities for them to partake in, and they give me nothing but grief. They say things like:
"Miss Lewis, this is so boring."
"Why do we have to do work? Why can't YOU just read to us ALL day?"
And then they spread rumors about me: "Miss Lewis, I heard you pretended to drop kick a kid and ended up splitting your pants and farting." (Totally Not True)
I tell you, these kids make my hair gray, make me short, and make fun of my AWESOME dance moves. When it comes to my dance moves, I know they are just jealous, so I suppose I can find it in my overly caring heart to forgive them.
